In its own way The Wool Clip has been part of the renaissance in British wool over the last few years, the co-operative producing original and creative craftwork, using wool from primarily native British breeds.

Casanova is one of Carlisle’s best known independent shops, Terry Foster establishing the menswear business in 1977. Over the years his range of clothes and accessories and his service have attracted many loyal customers.

This is a great Cumbrian success story, the business starting in a village near Carlisle in 1984 but now sending its leisure, travel, business and sporting bags, its totes and satchels - for men and women - all over the world.

The Lake District has inspired writers and artists for over 200 years and in Staveley near Kendal it’s also inspiring this family business and its range of skincare, ‘made with natural and, where possible, organic ingredients, ethically sourced from sustainable origins’.
